“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” (John 15:16 KJV)
The Bible tells us that He chose us that we might bear fruits and that our fruits should remain. Bearing fruits after our own kind is the purpose of His calling for our lives. God wants us to make a difference and make an impact on our world and on our generation.
We must be committed to making impact and a difference on our world. It’s our time and we must wake up to live up to expectation. This is the day; we must be committed to serve the purpose of God. To bear fruits after our own kind, we need to have;
Radical faith:
The very nature of fruit bearing require the engagement of radical faith. You must have faith and trust that surely you will bear fruits. It may take time and involve a series of processes but it’s possible. You can bear fruits and abound with fruits.
“Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.” (Mark 16:14 KJV)
Radical love:
“He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.” (John 21:17 KJV)
Without radical love for the Lord; we cannot continue in the journey to bear fruits. The love of God is what will constrain us to press on until we win. Love and passion is a major driving force. The deeper the love the greater the strength with which we push.
Radical commitment to time alone with God
“After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.” (Luke 10:1-2 KJV)
It takes prayer to take territories for Christ and to establish your dominion in your sphere of operation. We must be committed to prayer and time alone with God. As we pray, we receive strength and direction to press on and bring in the harvest of your own kind.
Radical commitment to God and the word of His grace
“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace,pp which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” (Acts 20:32 KJV)
Now we know that God and the word of grace are the two things that can build us up and give us an inheritance among the saints. If you really want an inheritance among them that are sanctified; then be commended to God and the word of His grace.
Radical commitment to giving and serving
“And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him, And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,” (Luke 8:1-2 KJV)
The secret to greatness is in serving and giving. When we learn to serve and give, we make a difference. It is more blessed to give than to recieve. As we serve and give we will rise and begin to rule.
Radical commitment to the assembling and exhortation
“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25 KJV)
Iron sharpens iron, so does the countenance of a man sharpen his neighbour. As we gather, His Spirit dwells among us and we recieve supernatural grace to press on and to rule.
Radical commitment to reading
‘Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.” (1 Timothy 4:13 KJV)
Radical hatred for the garment stained with the flesh
“And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.” (Jude 1:23 KJV)
Stay blessed; I love you!
