“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV)
Today, we want to discuss the sufficiency of God’s grace for His children. I don’t know how last year went for you, but one thing I know and know for sure is that the grace of God is sufficient to answer for any lack or battles you might be facing.
Many years ago Apostle Paul was faced with challenging
life issue. A messenger of
satan was sent to buffet and afflict him. He prayed and prayed and prayed, and after much
prayer, God sent him a
word. He said to Apostle Paul that “
my grace is sufficient for you“. This was the word God gave Apostle Paul, “
my grace is suffiecient for you”.
Yes! It is indeed true that the grace of God is sufficient for us. His grace will carry us throughout the year and beyond. If we accept that the grace of God is sufficient for us, then we should not take the grace for granted.
His strength will be perfected in your weakness. The Lord will be your defender as you hold on and trust in His grace. You will not miss the ‘wow moments’ in this year; in fact, those moment when grace answers the bugging questions and demands of life.
God will never leave you nor forsake you. His grace is sufficient for us. He will show up with the necessary breaks and helps that are need for the journey. Your year will be fruitful, productive and prosperous.
