Influence & Witness Mighty Miracles In Your City 2017

Rising and raising others to influence this city and witness mighty miracles is the core mandate of the church. In other words, we exist to make disciples of the nations.

“Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the Lord ]; for your light has come, And the glory and brilliance of the Lord has risen upon you. (Isaiah 60:1 AMP)

Today’s Reading:

Isaiah 60:1-6

We can influence our city on all the social, economic, political mountains of life. In

1. Faith and religion;
2. Family and health;
3. Law and governance;
4. Media and communication;
5. Science and technology; education and training;
6. Art and entertainment;
7. Business and commerce.

We must be able to influence these economic and social blocks, and witness mighty miracles right there. When the Lord walked on the earth, His influence was felt in all aspects of social, economic, and political life of His day. His body on earth today cannot do otherwise. we must arise and influence the cities, especially our cities.

The Bible tells us about how apostle Paul came into the city of Ephesus and found 12 committed disciples, and how even in the face of great opposition and unbelief they were still able to reach all of Asia with the gospel and with many mighty miracles (Acts 19). I believe we can follow their example and fill our cities with the gospel and mighty miracles. It does not take much.

Influencing a city does not require lighting and flamboyance. Influencing your city and witnessing mighty miracles must be the common quest of the church and Christian community. We must want to see the mighty miracles and great deeds in our cities. We should want to see the cripples walk, blind eyes opened, and the oppressed liberated (Acts 19:1-12).

In Jeremiah 4: 1-7 the prophet instructs us to;

1. Break up your fallow grounds:

Do not sow among thorns. The Lord upbraided them of their unbelief (See also Mark 16:14). He broke up their fallow grounds.

2. Circumcise your hearts:

You cannot put new wine in old wine skin (See also Matthew 9:17)

3. Arise and rally:

It is time to end oppression (See also Judges 4:1-21)

4. Set up the standards towards Zion:

Set your mind on things above (See also Colossians 3:1-2). Seek ye first the kingdom and righteousness God (See also Matthew 6:33)

5. Sow yourselves in righteousness:

Except the corn of wheat falls into the ground and die, it abides alone (See also John 12:24)

Now, why is this so important. My simple answer is that the day of judgement is coming. It would be a day reckoning. This is the day in which we shall all appear before the great king to be judged. We would all have to answer for all the things we did while on Earth.

Prophetic Prayers and Declarations

1. Purpose:  

I know that I was created in the image of God and after His likeness to rule in the midst of His creation, to be fruitful, replenish, multiply and subdue the Earth.

I therefore decree that whatever sin and disobedience stole from my life, by my faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross, I have it back in Jesus’ name!

I declare to myself, the forces of darkness, and the powers that be that I have the gift of righteousness and the abundance of grace; I am set to rule in life by Jesus Christ.

I am a child of God and my father lives in heaven. In the name of Jesus Christ, I settle for nothing less! Amen!

2. Divine Presence:

“Father, I repent, I give up my wickedness and stubbornness. Please forgive me. Create in me a clean heart. Renew a right spirit within me Send light to my spirit. Restore Your joy and peace within me.

Father, restore unto me every lost opportunity to do right, every lost relationship that is meant to connect me to my destiny; every lost virtue, anointing, and zeal in the name of Jesus Christ!

I forgive those who have wronged me. I refuse to bear grudge, get bitter or resent anyone.

We declare that any evil device projected against me, my family, this church, this city, and my network by the wicked one to divide and rule us is dismantled, destroyed, and nullified in Jesus’ name!

In the name of Jesus, I surrender anything in my life, my family, my network, my work and in this church that does not align with the Word of God, so that I can access God’s best for my life.

May the kingdom and the will of God be established in my life, network, work, in this city; in the name of Jesus Christ,

I declare that the will of God shall be done in my life as it is done in Heaven. I resist anything that is contrary to the will of God for my life.

Holy Spirit come! Anoint and renew us for the new dimensions, in the name of Jesus!

3. Breaking barriers: 

I know that there are unseen barriers trying to stop me from enjoying God’s best. I command those barriers to fall now in Jesus’ name!

I plead for mercy and grace; I cast out and break any thorn or arrow projected to afflict and humiliate me or anyone in my life in the name of Jesus Christ.

I rebuke any evil power seeking access to my life, my family, my children, this church or my ministry to afflict or plunder our goods and gains. They are rebuked in the name of Jesus Christ. I fiercely resist them now!

I fortify myself and put on the whole armour of God; I wrestle and resist every principality, power, ruler of darkness, and spiritual wickedness in high places in my life, this church, city and my family.

I exercise authority over every serpent or scorpion or every power of the enemy; nothing shall by any means hurt us in Jesus’ name!

I cast out, resist and disarm any strange person planted in my life or family or network or city in the name of Jesus Christ.

Any strong forces occupying my mountain of promise are rebuked and dislodged in Jesus’ name!

Every thorn in my field that intends to choke the word of God in my life is uprooted now!

In the name of Jesus Christ, I refuse to sow among thorns. I break up my fallow grounds.  I am getting ready to access some new dimensions in life. I will tap into my untapped potentials today!

I engage the weapons of war which are mighty through God against every imagination or thought or high thing that exalts itself above the knowledge of God. I cast them down; I pull them down; I tear them apart, in the name of Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ, my mind and thought patterns are improving now, enlarging and strengthening.

4. Providence:

Father please give me a revelation of who You have made me, what I must be doing now, how I must do it and why.

Bless, enlarge, and increase me. Let my light shine! Let me rise from obscurity! You are the God of Abraham.

May You oh God, provide for me such as I may need for this assignment. Are you not the God of Nehemiah.

Teach and help me to grow. Teach my fingers fight and my arms to war. You are the God of David.

Oh God let your presence and hand be with me; to empower and protect me against evil. You are the God Israel.

Father, lead me not into temptation, deliver me from evil. Let nothing by any means hurt me.

• Missions:

Father, unbraid us from our unbelief; strengthen our faith. Make us strong and courageous to reach the lost where ever they are. Help us to preach the gospel to the unsaved. Help us to teach the nations; to preach repentance and the remission of sins. From today, we will do the works of Christ and even greater works. We shall boldly step out and give witness of the resurrection power. In the mighty name of Jesus! (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:14-20; Luke 24:44-51; John 14:12; Acts 1:8; Acts 10: 33-38)

• Anoint us

Dear Lord, anoint us with the Holy Spirit and power. Baptise us with Your holy fire. Give us favour with men. Stretch forth Your hand to heal the sick, liberated the oppressed, and set the captives free; to give us boldness to preach in the name of Jesus! (Luke 24:49-51; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:47; Acts 4)

• People in Authority:

Now, I lift up prayer for the leadership in my life, network, work, family and city.

I thank God for their lives!

Father, please forgive their sins, mistakes, and misjudgments.

I ask for courage, strength, wisdom and direction for them. Lord lead and strengthen them. Strengthen and lead my parents. Strengthen and lead my husband. Strengthen and lead my pastor.  Strengthen and lead the leaders of this great nation.

Send them strength, help, and wisdom in the name of Jesus Christ!

•  Lead us in the paths of righteousness

Father, Lead us in the paths of righteousness in the name of Jesus! As we visit the widows and fatherless in their afflictions, help us to bridle our tongue; help us to keep ourselves unspotted from the world. Help us to keep ourselves holy unto you (James 1:26)

Father, give us utterance as we step out. Give us a Word in season. Let Your Word in our mouths be as hammer to break hearts of stone. Let Your word be as fire to refine. Let Your Word in my mouth be as water to refresh. Let Your Word in my mouth be sharper than any two-edged sword, to discern and judge the intents of men. Let Your Word come forth as dew, and as rain to cause fruitfulness, in Jesus’ name! (Ephesians 6:18-20)

• Deliver us from wicked and unreasonable men

Father, deliver us from wicked and unreasonable men. We overpower and disarmed the strongmen of hell. We lose their loins and set their captives free.

We command now that you foul spirits of darkness, let go of the people of God in this city, in the name of Jesus! (Luke 11:22-26)

• Let Your Word have a free course.

Father, let Your Word have a free course. Let the nations receive Your Word as their necessary food. Cause them by the hissing of your voice to gain understanding on Your mountain as they are taught. We engage the force of the Wind of the Spirit, blow now! blow Holy Spirit! Father the nations.

• Send labourers

Father, send labourers to the mission fields. Send men, send women, send! Lord send help to the mission field. Touch the hearts of many to arise and go…

Send us! None can preach except your send. Send us! Come with us and work with us. Send partners, open doors, send logistics, raise financial pillars, resource your church and give us speed in Jesus’ name!

• Awaken Your church

Father, awaken Your church from the deep slumber. Touch our hearts with Your holy fire. Put the fire of compassion in our hearts. Stir up our hearts and let the revival begin in me.

Father, Prepare your church!

• Glory to God!

I am ruling, expanding, increasing, and impacting my world. I rule as a king and serve as a priest. Glory to God.

Amen!
