“And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: (2) And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; (3) And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord : and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: (4) But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.” (Isaiah 11:1-4 KJV)
Eighty percent of the outcome of our lives depend on our choices, our decisions, and our understanding. Many are dead, some are halt and many more stagnant because of poor choices, decisions and understanding.
It is dangerous to live in a day like this and be dull in understanding. In our days things are not the same anymore. Reality goes beyond what meets the eye. We will achieve more when we receive quick understanding as Jesus Christ did.
This week’s prophetic exhortation seeks to teach us the secret to great wisdom and understanding and judgement. This is the secret behind the wisdom and understanding of Our Lord Jesus Christ. This will enable us to go forward faster and save us from failing in the course of duty.
If you want to operate by deep understanding and judgement as the Lord then there are seven spirits you must catch:
1.The Spirit of the Lord:
This is the spirit that enables performance and quickening. Romans 8:11 says “if the Spirit of Him that raise Christ from the dead abides in you; then He that raised Christ from the dead shall quicken your mortal bodies by that same Spirit“. The Holy Spirit of God according to Ephesians 4:30 is the seal and Spirit of holiness.
2. The Spirit of wisdom and understanding:
This helps you to see in-between the lines. The Bible says “counsel in the heart of a man is as deep waters and the man of understanding draws it out” (Proverbs 20:5). This is the grace to build. “With wisdom a house is built” (Proverbs 24:3).
3. The Spirit of counsel and might:
This is the grace for warfare. This is the Spirit of overcoming.
4. The Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord:
This is the grace for prosperity and increase.
Four signs of being quick with understanding are:
- Not judging after the sight of your eyes
- Nor reproving after the hearing of your ear
- Judging with righteousness and
- Reproving with equity
I pray that you will crave, catch and cultivate the anointing.
Stay blessed; I love you.
Amen
