[Philippians 3:1‭-‬2 KJV] “Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe. Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision”.

I want to speak to you today about three classes of people you must be careful about if you want to finish your course with joy. This message is not for everyone, it’s for those who have already decided to run their race and to finish their course with joy. If you are reading this and you have not as yet decided to run your race, fight the good fight, and finish your course with joy, then you must as well stop reading because this content may offend you.

We are called to fight the good fight of faith, to run the race set before us, and to finish our course with Joy. We must all make that determination to so run and to finish. We must not allow anything to distract and slow us down. We must run and finish the journey. Nothing will stop you in your tracks. You will win and not fail, but there are three classes of people you must beware of;

Dogs:

These are people who easily return to their vomit. They oscillate between the past and present. They are neither here nor there. Many of them are also dual. They are neither cold nor warm, these are the people who go from hot to cold and cold to hot and back and forth. Such people are very dangerous. They are teachers of evil and don’t inspire progress.

Evil workers:

These are more or less a generation of mixed multitudes. Though they flow with us, they dont think like us. The are workers with us but they pursue selfish evil agenda. Though they are around, they are here to pursue their own selfish agenda and desires. They are evil workers. They are workers of iniquity and they work all manner of evils. Beware of evil workers! These are those who inspire evil and rebellion. If you want to finsh your race then you must be careful about evil workers. The truth is you can slip when you see the wicked prosper in their wickedness. This is why you must be very careful of evil workers.

Concision:

Beware of people who place too much value on outward appearances and ceremonial worship. The concision are those who place so much emphasis on circumcision and outward worship of the law. You cannot finish your race if you stay around people who judge after outward appearances. You must be careful about people who value facial make up over character. Such people value cars and university degrees over the fear of God. There are people who see nothing apart from hips when they see women. You must grow pass that. Beware of people who place too much value on outward appearances. This is because, although we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.

I believe with all of my heart that you can finish and finish strong if you are careful about these three classes of people.

Be blessed, I love you!

Kofi Simpe

Prayer:

Father, please give me the courage and strength to be careful of dogs, evil workers and people who judge after outward appearances, Amen!
