3 More Reasons Why Many are Still Sick in the Church

Today, I want to discuss three reasons why the health of many is failing or not in the best shape. There are many reasons why many are sick in the church but I want to discuss only three in this meeting.

[3 John 1:2 KJV] “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth”.

3 things that are of utmost importance to God concerning you are your health, wealth, and worth. The Lord wants you healthy, wealthy, and worthy of His calling. Many are still sick in the church because;

  1. They eat without discretion
  2. They sleep around
  3. They despise the Sabbath
  4. They don’t believe they can be healthy

They eat without discretion

Many are still sick and weak in the church because they eat without discretion. The fork and knife have sent many people to an early grave. Apostle Paul told Timothy to drink only wine because of his often infirmity. What you eat has a way of impacting on your health in a big way. I will admonish that we eat with discretion and temperance.

They sleep around

Sex will send many people to an early grave. Many holes are pits of death; loaded with many sicknesses and conditions. You must remember, it is not every hole that you enter. Some people are a highway to death and shame and disgrace. Many are still sick and weak because they sleep around too much.

They despise the sabbath

The third reason many are sick and weak and fatigued is that they are not taking rest. They are overworked and fatigued. I believe all of us must respect the sabbath and rest for 24 hours every seven days. God understands our need for rest, that is why He created the Sabbath. I pray that the Lord will give you rest and cause you to be restored and healed quickly.

They don’t believe they can be healthy

The fourth and final reason many are still sick and weak is the fact that they don’t believe in divine health. They don’t think they can be healed or to walk in health. As long as people do not believe, they will not be healed. We will walk in health when we believe and think on it.

I have no doubt that you will be healthy and continue living a wealthy and worthy life.

Stay blessed, I love you!
