Romans 8:18-22 KJV — For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. [19] For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. [20] For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
[21] because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. [22] For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
The whole world is groaning under pain, and we must arise and do something. There is too much suffering in the world. We cannot continue to be singing and clapping and enjoying the church while the world is dying. We must step out and reach out. We must arise and act. What can we do then?
1. Pray:
In 1Timothy 2:1-8, Apostle Paul teaches that the first step to saving the world from the pain, suffering, curses, and brokenness is to pray for all men and for people in authority. The first thing you can do to save the world is to pray for the world.
2. Speak up:
Join the debate and let the light and the love of God shine through your words. Your words heal and your prophecy edifies. This is the time to speak life and grace into the church. This is the time to join the debate and speak up. More often than not the thing that destroys the world is the silence of the good people.
We must learn to speak of the love and the goodness of the Lord. We have a responsibility to tell the world that Jesus Christ is coming again. We must show the world the way of life and healing. Speak up, don’t allow evil to thrive.
3. Manifest:
Show up! Talking alone is not enough; show up and act. We must prepare men who are ready to take over and occupy till He comes. Jesus Christ wants His church to occupy till He comes. We must prepare some of the good men to influence the social mountains of technology and science, religion, education, business and commerce, law and order, arts and entertainment, family and health etc.
If we don’t show up, the witches and wizards will take over. Light must show up to confuse and drive away darkness. I pray for the day that Christians will fill the lecture theatres, clinics, the chamber of parliament, become captains of industry, and influence the world with light.
If we don’t show up, the world will take over and shape how things are done. Already the world has an advantage because their god, the god of this age rules; but we can change the narrative by showing up.
May the Lord empower His church to pray, speak and show up to save this dying world from pain and suffering and shame!
Stay blessed
