We have already studied about how to escape hell in my previous teaching. The horrible fact, however, remains that many are running and speeding head-on into hell because they have been ensnared and blinded.
[Luke 21:29-36 KJV] “And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; [30] When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. [31] So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand”.
[32] “Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. [33] Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. [34] And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. [35] For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth”.
[36] “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man”.
The Bible tells us that as the last days approach, many shall be ensnared and led straight on into hell.
The Lord taught that the following 3 things will ensnare many people:
These are the three little things that ensnare the generations of the last days. Many are running speedily and head-on into hell because of the cares of life, and their love and lust for food and pleasure. Many will miss heaven because of surfeiting and indulgence; many will miss heaven because of drunkenness and the cares of life.
The only secret to escape this ensnarement is to;
1. Take heed unto yourself:
This simply means be careful, don’t take chances. You must be ready to act swiftly.
2. Watch yee:
To watch is to be vigilant and to understand things more deeply than just what meets the eye.
3. Pray without ceasing:
Praying without ceasing is to live by prayer. Pray about every little thing and still pray about every good thing. Don’t leave your life, or anything in your life to chance — direct and guide your life by prayer.
I pray that every one of us shall escape the snare that is coming upon all men. I pray that you shall fight and press on to win over the traps of the last days.
