There are spiritual horns sent to scatter us, but our prayers can destroy them all. We know that there is a thief who comes not except to steal, kill, and destroy. There is a hierarchy of demonic powers sent to scatter and keep us from obeying the voice of God; but we also have weapons of war, which are mighty through God to pull down and cast down and restrain every weapon projected against us.
[1 Timothy 2:1-4 KJV] “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth”.
Some of such weapons which are mighty through God to destroy demonic holds are prayer, faith, praise, giving, and fasting. Today, we shall explore four types of prayer that can break the horns sent to scatter and keep us from obeying God. The four types of prayer are;
Supplications:
Supplications are prayers characterized by strong crying and tears. This is a type of pleading prayer. There are times when it takes aggressive and travailing cryings to find salvation. This is the season for crying and holding on to the Horn of Refuge. May you find salvation and help from this altar in the name of Jesus Christ!
Prayer:
Oratory and petitioning prayers. In this type of prayer, we offer petitions. We bring our request before the Most High God and affirm our faith. This is when we come with faith and adoration and boldness to petition the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help in the day of need. This is our everyday devotional prayers and worship.
Intercession:
This is the kind of prayer in which we stand in the gap for others. This is neccessary because many of the people under demonic sieges are unaware of the eminent danger. Lot was living in Sodom but he was unaware of the coming destruction. It took Abraham to stand in the gap and make up the hedge for him. Many people are blinded to the real dangers they face; we must therefore stand in the gap and intercede for them.
Thanksgiving:
This is prayer of submission, gratitude and thanksgiving. This when we acknowledge and share our testimony with God. In this type of prayer we admit and acknowledge that the Lord has been our helper. This is when we acknowledge that God has seen us through all the worst seasons. The Scriptures encourage us to enter His gates with thanksgiving in our hearts. Come before Him with a sense of gratitude and submission.
I pray that you will catch the Spirit of prayer! May the Lord defend and keep you! May Jehovah bless and keep you safe! May you break every horn sent to scatter us! You are a battle-ax in the hands of the Lord. Indeed you are His weapon of war. Become effective! By you may the Lord demolish every demonic projection, In the mighty name of Jesus Christ!
Stay blessed; I love you!
