There are things you can do to harvest your miracles. But the Bible tells us those who observe lying vanities forsake their own mercies. Sometimes, we tend to believe in vanities. We believe those who tell us sweet things rather than those who point us to the truth.
[Jonah 2:8 KJV] “They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy”.
This verse of the Bible is the last but one statement on Jonah’s prayer after he spent three days in the belly of the whale. He had come to know that “those who trust in lying vanities forsake their own mercy”. If you really want to harvest miracles, then you must do the following;
1. Keep hearing by faith:
The Bible teaches that he that works miracles and ministers the Spirit among us does it by the hearing of faith and not by fulfilling a law (See Galatians 3:5). It does not matter what you may be going through, you can make it by faith. You must hear the things that lift your spirit to think about possibilities.
2. Speak positively to yourself:
Speak to yourself. When the woman with the issue of blood heard about what Jesus was doing in the lives of others, she said: “if I may touch but the hem of his garments, I shall be well”. She did not look at what she had been through or was going through. She kept speaking positively to herself. I believe that speaking positively to yourself will lift up your spirit and make it possible for you to see the hand of God.
3. Step out and do as the prophet says:
The Bible teaches that it is the doer of the word that is blessed and not the hearer. We must strive to do as the prophet says. Elisha told Naaman to go and dip in the Jordan seven times. All that Naaman needed to do was to go and dip in the Jordan.
When the guests needed wine at the wedding at Cana, all the servants needed to do and get wine was to do whatsoever Jesus told them to do. You shall harvest bumper miracles when you step out and do as you are told.
4. Be filled with the Holy Ghost and power:
This is one of the great secrets to the harvest of miracles. Be filled with the Holy Ghost and power. God will do what we ask of Him, but according to His power that is at work in us. What power is at work in you? Is there any power at work in you? We cannot mess up. We must stand up and strive to be filled with the Holy Ghost.
5. Ask in faith:
Ask what you would but ask in faith: every one who needed a miracle from Jesus came to Him and asked. Praying is a sure secret to harvesting miracles. Bartimaeus cried out the more even when the people told him to shut up. You can also ask and receive. You will not miss your harvest.
I have no doubt that this is the secret to a harvest of miracles. The Lord will do a new thing in our lives. This is the season for the manifestation of supernatural acts.
