Todays message is on the 6 laws of money you must do well to observe.
Though money is good,
Don’t make, making money the first thing; there are many things that are more valuable than money
Some of the common things that are more valuable than money are godliness with contentment, integrity, righteousness, wisdom, your life, etc. All these things are more valuable than money. Never make, making money the first thing on your mind.
Don’t be greedy for money
Proverbs 28:22 KJV — He that hasteth to be rich hath an evil eye, And considereth not that poverty shall come upon him.
Don’t be covetous; let your life be without coveteousness
Hebrews 13:5-6 KJV — Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. [6] So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear What man shall do unto me.
Don’t love money, the love of money is the root of all evil
1 Timothy 6:5-10 KJV — Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. [6] But godliness with contentment is great gain. [7] For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
[8] And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. [9] But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. [10] For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Making money should never be the first priority; neither should you trust riches when they increase
Proverbs 23:4-5 KJV — Labour not to be rich: Cease from thine own wisdom. [5] Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; They fly away as an eagle toward heaven.
Don’t serve money; money must serve you
Matthew 6:24 KJV — No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Stay blessed
