It is important to remember that we have a mandate and a charge to keep. A mandate or charge to work out our salvation with fear and trembling, serve and witness to our families, work with our hands to earn a living and a giving, go into the world and preach the gospel, teach and disciple others, and make a difference in the lives of others.
- Believe, connect, and continue steadfastly in the faith. Every one must press on and press in into the kingdom. (See Acts 2:40-47)
- Rule well and care for your family. God wants us to take care of the people in our households well.
- Work with your own hands to earn a living and giving.
- Go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Evangelism)
- Teach and perfect others to do what you have been taught to do. (Discipleship and training)
- Make a difference for others; let others find light in your light. Clothe the naked, feed the hungry, visit the prisoners and the sick, refresh the thirsty, shelter the stranger.
These are the simple things you can do to fulfil the great commission of the church; the commission to function as a missionary in the place you live, work and play.
