I want to exhort you today on four things every young woman must be taught by an older woman or her pastor. These are important tips that help her to live above reproach.
If our gospel will ever be honoured and the word will ever be above reproach, then women in the church must live holy and be teachers of good things, not given to much wine and false accusations but to teach each other;
1. To be sober:
Any woman will mess up except she begins to think soberly. Every young woman must be taught how to think clearly and soberly. Many young women are drunk with beauty, pride, and a desire for fame. A woman who thinks soberly is a keeper and a treasure.
2. To love their husbands:
Every young woman must be taught the skill of loving her own husband. Most often than not the bad girls get the good guys because they know how to lie low and make a man feel like a king. The young Christian woman must be taught how to love her own husband. Loving is a skill and it must be taught.
3. To love their children:
She should also be taught how to love her own children. The children we have are gifts from God. You must be taught how to love and bring up children. It is a must-have skill. Many young people dont know how to love their children.
4. To be chaste discreet and good:
Every young woman should be taught how to be discreet, chaste and good. The Bible says beauty in a woman without discretion is like a gold ring in a pig’s snout.
5. Keepers at home:
Many young woman don’t know how to stay home. But a woman worth her sort knows how to stay home. You must be taught to be a keeper at home. You must be equipped with home management skills. You must be able to keep a home. These are skills that can be acquired.
6. Obedient to their own husbands:
Young women must be taught how to obey their own husbands. Many young women are arrogant and proud. Learning to obey your husband can change your life significantly.
