[Deuteronomy 2:1-5 KJV] “Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the Lord spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days. [2] And the Lord spake unto me, saying, [3] Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.”
[4] “And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore: [5] Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.”
I want to speak to you today about seven barriers you will need to overcome in order to advance to the next level in obedience to the word of the Lord:
- Mindset barriers
- Wrestlers
- Institutional barriers
- Financial barriers
- Knowledge barriers
- Stumbling blocks
- Attitudinal barriers
These are the seven key barriers that those who turn northwards in search of the next levels encounter. These barriers are not realized as long as you stay in your comfort zone. As long as you are not seeking the next levels you will not even know how real these barriers are.
If you really want to move to the next levels, then you must be ready to deal with imaginations, thought, high things and every knowledge that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 teaches that we have weapons which are “mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds and imaginations and thoughts”. It is a surprising fact that more people are hindered by mindsets and mental barriers than by devils. You must deal with poisonous mindsets.
Ephesians 6:10-12 teaches that “we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers and against rulers of the darkness of this world and spirits wickedness in high places”. You must psyche your mind to deal with resistances, opposition and barriers. There are obstacles that must be scaled. I pray that the Lord will enable you to scale these obstacles and move to the next level.
Institutional and cultural obstacles are real and need to be scaled. May the Lord enable you to find support. May protocols be suspended because of you!
I pray also that financial obstacles will give way. May you receive foresight, insight, and capacity to carry out the agenda for the next level. You will not miss the way.
I speak over your life that destiny wreckers who are seeking to trap you to fall will fail. They will not succeed. Jezebel will not succeed, she will fail in the name of Jesus. Balaam will not excel; may the Lord empower your mind to win in the name of Jesus.
May the Lord begin a healing process to restore health to you and in give the strength of mind to pursue every needed attitudinal correction. I pray that God will help and keep you. May the Almighty sustain and help you achieve more than you imagined in the name of Jesus Christ.
