- Nothing is too small or too big to bring before God in prayer. As long as the thing has the potential to disturb your peace, it’s worth praying about (See Philippians 4:6).
- If there is a man to pray, then there is a God to answer; the Bible says when we ask according to His will, he hears and answers us. 1 John 5:14-15 says “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: [15] and if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.“
- There are few simple barriers to 100% answered prayer: James 4:2-3 — Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. [3] Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
- Not praying or asking at all: Many people will rather, envy and fight and covet rather than pray. When the church learns to pray about everything, there will be more miracles in our lives and in the church.
- Many of us ask amiss: Many of us do not pray according to the will of God. We ask to consume it upon our lust. I pray that we shall pray according to the heartbeat of God.
- Unbelief and doubting: These are some of the sure barriers to answers to prayer. Many ask, doubting in their heart. The word tells us that a man that wavers cannot receive anything from God
- One of the greatest benefits of prayer is that prayer changes you. Prayer does not just make things happen, but prayer changes you. When you pray, you command authority in the realms of the Spirit.
- Pray that the meditations of your heart, the thoughts of your mind, the words of your mouth, and the cry of your spirit shall be accepted into the Lord. Let us pray this prayer daily. The wrong stuff you think about can negate your prayers. Pray that your thoughts, meditation, words, and desires shall all align with the will and word of God.
- Pray that the Lord will give you oil in your lamp to keep you burning. Sing with me, “Give me oil in my lamp, keep me burning, keep me burning!” We need extra oil for the days ahead. Pray for oil.
- Pray that the Lord shall awaken and revive us for mighty works and world evangelism! Pray that God will send more labourers into the harvest!
Stay blessed!
