8 Prayers that will increase your strength

[Jeremiah 12:5‭-‬6 KJV] “If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?”

“For even thy brethren, and the house of thy father, even they have dealt treacherously with thee; yea, they have called a multitude after thee: believe them not, though they speak fair words unto thee.”

[Isaiah 40:29‭-‬31 KJV] “He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Anyone of us can come to that place of being weary, fainting, and utterly falling. Anyone of us can be worn out through the wear and tear of everyday living; but you can increase the threshold at which you will manifest the weariness.

Let us pray that God will increase our strength in eight (8) areas of life.

1. Pray that God will increase your socialising quotient.

That you may become all things for all men that you may win some for Christ; Apostle Paul became all things to all men that he might win some for Christ.

You must recieve the grace to condescend to men of lower estate. Pray that God will help you to relate with all men from all walks of life

2. Pray that God will increase your adaptability quotient

You must learn to live under all contradicting circumstances. Apostle Paul could do all things through Christ who strengthens him. He could live abased and in abundance. You must be able to adapt to every circumstances in life.

Daniel had the ability to study magic and yet be a faithful follower of the only true God.

3. Pray that God will increase your spirituality quotient

Peter spoke as the devil because he thought like a man. Until your spirituality approaches that of Christ, you will think like a man and behave like the devil. Pray that God will increase your spirituality; that you can focus on things above and not earthly.

4. Pray that God will increase your emotional quotient

Although many of us are gifted, we are very immature emotionally. We are rash, easily angered and provoked, we are just too proud and throw tantrums at the least provocation.

5. Pray that God will increase your intelligence quotient

The measure of your IQ is the measure of your ability to solve problems. Joseph, through a high IQ, solved the problem of the Pharaoh and was promoted.

6. Pray that God will increase your teachability quotient

How teachable are you? Can you be instructed, corrected, and rebuked? Pray that God will increase your ability to study and to be taught.

7. Pray that God will increase your endurance quotient

Pray that God will increase your stamina. Pray that God will help you to withstand and stand against harsh conditions.

8. Pray that God will increase your value quotient

Many of us have weak morals because we have a low moral quotient. When how low you can stoop is too low, you will become immoral. You should pray that God will, by the sprinkling of the blood, regenerate your conscience and help you to walk uprightly.
