I want to share 9 nine key things to remember about unclean spirits.
[Luke 11:14-26 KJV] “And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered. But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils. And others, tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven.”
“But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against an house falleth. If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.”
“And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges. But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.”
“When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: but when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.“
“When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.“
“Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.“
In fact, one of the major sources of suffering and failure is unclean spirits; and understanding their nature may better prepare you to win battles over them.
Unclean spirits can possess and dwell in a man, they are stronger than:
When you build strength demons can’t dwell in you. They possess and destroy people they are strong enough to overpower.
Unclean spirits can be casted out by someone stronger than them
The stronger one determine the situation; but even when you are stronger than them, you must understand how to disarm and over unclean spirits.
When unclean spirit overpower you they disarm and divide your goods
I pray that in every situation, you will be the stronger one. May you be the one overpowering, disarming, and dividing the goods of unclean spirits. There are treasure and riches in darkness, which you can take over when you overpower devils. When they over power you, they will also disarm and spoil your goods. It is a spiritual battle. That is why you must wrestle and subdue them; when they overpower you, they will divide your goods.
Unclean spirits wants to find rest; their main focus is to find rest
They are always roaming and looking for rest. That is why they have a liking for dormant believers, lukewarm Christians, prayerless believers, etc. They seek to find rest where they live; that is why the first thing they attack, when they gain access to your life is your prayer life and obedience. May no devil find a resting place in your life, in the name of Jesus!
Unclean spirits can weigh the strengths of people and other spirits
That is how they are able to tell which other unclean spirit are more wicked than themselves. They have the ability to evaluate. There is a point called the zero point, this is your lowest spirit level. The stronger you are spiritually, the greater the strength required to reduce you to the zero point. May the Lord help you to be strong in Him and the power of His might! Recieve the grace to be strong!
One demon can team up with others to make your life miserable
The Bible says when unclean spirits enter into a man, his later state shall be worse than the former. The more unclean spirits that dwell in a man the worse his state becomes.
So many unclean spirits can dwell in one person
The Bible teaches that 7 spirits were casted out of Mary Magdalene. When one devil gains access to you, it opens the door for so many others to come in. It may just start with a spirit of offense, bitterness, unforgiveness, or greed, then it would fester into unhealed wounds! May the Lord help you to deal with the little devils and their deposits in you. Be alert!
Unclean spirits can both dwell in a place as well as in a person
Devils can both enter and dwell in animate and inanimate objects and places. There are demons that live in places. If you spending a lot of time in night clubs, you are likely to have devils of lust, debauchery, and depression. When you spend time at demonic festivals, you get possessed! Demons can both live in places and in persons.
