Conquest Through Offering

One of the greatest keys to an open Heaven and divine favour for blessing and enlargement your offerings to the Lord.

By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh (Hebrews 11:4 KJV)

Today’s Reading

And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord .  

And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.  

And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord .  

And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering:  

But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.  

And the Lord said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?  

If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

I desire with all of my heart that you shall step into increase, blessings, enlargement and expansion this year. I wish above all things that as it is well with your soul, you will be in health and prosper (3 John 1:2-3). I am believing God with you that you will prosper and see increase.

I want to spend some time expounding and teaching you the secrets to be blessed and to experience the promised bumper harvest. May the Lord help you to step into the bumper harvest in an open heaven experience in Jesus’ name!

A study of the life of Cain and Abel would help you to understand the dynamics of giving and sacrificing unto God. Many people sow but only a few reap on their sowing because many people do not sow rightly. From the life of Cain and Abel, you must understand that you offering must have a purpose.

#1. There must be something that you do for a living:

Abel was an animal farmer and Cain was a tiller of the ground.  It is not enough to merely sow your seed but you must sow it into something. God will bless the work of your hands so you must sow your seed for a purpose. You must sow with an expectation. God does not bless idle hands.

#2. Have understanding into times and seasons:

Cain and Abel understood time and seasons. They came to offer their offferings in the process of time. You must understand your times and seasons. You must sow with understanding if you want to reap any meaningful fruits.

One very good time to offer a sacrifice is at the change of seasons; new year, new moon, first day of the week, and so on.

#3. Give your offering by faith:

By faith Abel knew that God wants the first fruits of the field and our work. By faith Abel offered the first fruits of his increase. Firstlings, the term that the Bible uses is defined as the first agricultural produce of a season. By faith Abel offered tithes and first fruits.

You cannot just offer anything at all. If you want fruits, then offer what the Word demands.

#4. Fellowship with caution:

As you sacrifice your offerings, beware of those you fellowship with in the field. Abel could have lived longer if he had been circumspect in his fellowship with bitter people. Bitter friends are dangerous people.

Today’s Prayer 

Speak these declarations aloud and clearly:

#I repent of my sins and unfaithfulness with money. I receive the forgiveness of the Lord in the area of my work and finances in the name of Jesus Christ

#I speak over my work; I declare the blessings of God upon my career and business and the works of my hands. My ground shall yield in her strength. I will abound with fruits in Jesus’s name! As I have declared it so shall it be!

#My first fruits shall be favoured by Heaven this month; As I go through this month, I shall see  the hand of the Lord and his grace shall be upon my work in the name of Jesus Christ.

#I shall not die prematurely; Any evil person planted in my life to slay me or anybody in my family shall not succeed in the name of Jesus Christ!
