There is absolutely nothing wrong with being single but if you really want to meet and marry the right suitor, them remember that the fundamental prerequisite for finding a wife is seeking (diligent search), and to be found as a wife, the prerequisite is to show up.

Simple steps to meet and marry a suitor are:

1. Have the desire of the righteous for a partner:

Proverbs 10:24 teaches us that the desire of the righteous shall be granted. You must have a strong desire for a partner and show it. Don’t pretend, show that you want to get married.

2. Seek face of God daily: 

Proverbs 19:14 exhorts that a prudent wife is a gift from God. You must seek the face and the will of God concerning marriage daily. You can seek the will of God concerning marriage through reading, observing, learning, dreams and visions, and praying. (Psalm 37:5)

3. Know and write down what you want:

If you don’t know what you want, you will fall for anything. You must have a criteria based on the will of God for you. Remember however that a suitable partner for you can come in any package.

4. Make yourself as good as the type of person you seek:

God will never give left overs to those who seek Him diligently. You must make yourself as good as the kind of person you want. Don’t expect your life to just change, you must change it yourself.

5. Determine 25 new things you will be doing:

You cannot be in the same place and expect to meet suitors. Your checklist could include taking a sport, attending great conferences, organising great events, taking a new program, etc.

6. Open your eyes, both physical and spiritual eyes:

Don’t expect the obvious to change, it mostly never does. If you meet a fool, don’t hope to change him or her, they hardly change.

7. Make a move if you see what you are seeking: 

Be tactical, honest, simple and straightforward. Don’t waste time just approach her and talk to her. Don’t waste time uncover his feet if he has shown interest but settle for nothing less than a covenant relationship.

8. Don’t jump into committed relationship straight away;

Tread cautiously, remembering that the whole world lies in wickedness.

9. Don’t hide nor stay in the dark.
