Reach Out

There has never been a time when the need to reach out has been more needful than now.  It’s time to arise and reach out to the world. Arise and Gather!

Acts 8:26–31 KJV

And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.  

And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,  Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.  

Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.  

And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?  

And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

Exhortation

Reach-out to those who are lost right in church like the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:26-39). We must reach out to those who have fallen by the way side; We must reach out to those who have to the backslidden; and we must reach out to the lost in the world. Reach-out!

ADVERTISEMENT

As you go;

1, Preach the gospel:

Preach the good news that the blessing of Abraham has come upon the Gentiles because of the sacrifice of Christ on the cross.

2. Preach repentance and the remission of sins:

Tell the world that because Jesus Christ has suffered death and is risen again everybody can be forgiven and given a new life if they turn to the Lord in repentance.

3. Teach them to do all that you were taught to do:

This is discipleship. We are to raise others to become obedient to the Lord like as we are. And eventually to become like us.

4. Preach repentance and faith towards our Lord Jesus Christ:

As you step out preach that whosoever believes on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

5. Testify of the resurrection power: 

As you testify of the resurrection power, the one who raised Christ from the dead begins to work signs among your hearers.

6. Teach everything that is profitable to your hearers: 

Hold back nothing that is needful.

7. Pray for the sick and cast out devils:

You have the power and grace to do that.

8. Do the works of Christ and even greater than that:

Visit the fatherless and widows in their afflictions.

May the Lord bless you and cause His face to shine upon you; Stay blessed!
