[2 Peter 1:3 KJV] “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:”
God has not only called us to glory and virtue, but His divine power has given unto us all things that pertains to life and godliness. We are called to glory and virtue. We are not called to shame and disgrace. He called us to grace and honour. I know how it will all end when we follow His lead; it will end in glory and honour.
To walk into that glorious destiny, you will need opportunities, equipment, people, money, and energy.
1. Smart people don’t waste their opportunities:
Judas wasted the opportunity to sit on one of the twelve thrones in heaven because he could not submit to the wisdom of his pastor. Judas wasted a great opportunity because he could not stand to be humiliated. Judas did not walk into glory and virtue because he wasted the greatest opportunity of his life.
2. Smart people select their tools and technology cautiously:
When King Saul offered David his armour, the young lad refused it because he had not proven them. If you were smart, you will select your equipment carefully . You will win when you select your equipment and technology with wisdom and skills.
3. Smart people are careful how they treat other people:
Sometimes, conflict is good, it shows you who is for you and who does not belong with you. Conflict separated Abraham and Lot, Jesus and Judas, etc. Sometimes, conflict is good. You may never know who belongs with you until there is a fight. Conflicts reveal what people truly value. When Abraham was in conflict with Lot, He cared only for peace and relationship, but Lot valued money and success. You prayed for helpers, now they are here, be careful how you treat them. Who are the five most powerful people around you. What does the five most powerful voices around you sound like?
4. Smart people are money-wise:
They are faithful with it, they are frugal, they makes friends with it, and they don’t trust it. Be money-wise and you will excel. “… Money answers all things under heaven”. You cannot mess with money and think you will make it. Don’t love money, but exchange value for value.
5. Smart people generate positive energy:
Smart people know that a strong spirit in a battle-wearied body cannot function. Smart people stay away from the things that drain them of energy. Smart people will not allow things that deplete their energy.
The truth remains that you are called to glory and virtue. You will walk into glory and virtue. Nothings will stop you. Don’t waste your opportunities, choose your equipment carefully, treat people well, be money-wise, and generate positive energy. I love you!
Be blessed;
