Every one of us is called to minister the word of reconciliation to our community and circle of friends and family.
[Exodus 3:9-12 KJV] “Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them. [10] Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt. [11] And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? [12] And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain”.
The Bible tells us that one died for all that all who live will no longer live unto themselves but unto he that died for them. I believe there is a call of God on the life of every believer. There is the call of God on every life.
If you can truly fulfill your call;
1. Don’t look at yourself, look at God:
When God called Moses, he said: “who am I that I should go to Pharoah”. Fear ad timidity was holding him back. These were the exact same words of Gideon, of Jeremiah, and of Barak. What we think we are not is what is keeping many back. What is keeping many back is not who they are, it is what they think they are. Even though God had ordained Jeremiah a prophet from his mother’s womb, he still thought he was a child. God had made Moses a god to Pharoah, yet he still thought he was nobody. God saw Gideon as a mighty man of valour, yet he saw himself as the least in Israel.
Indeed, the thoughts of God are not our thoughts. I am not suggesting that you should be arrogant, but you must believe what the word of God says you are.
2. Don’t compare yourself with others:
Moses felt small because he focused on the magnitude of Pharoah and the expanse of his kingdom, instead of focusing on the power of God who was calling and sending him.
3. Don’t focus on what you don’t have, focus on the presence and token of God with you:
Moses was scared because he erroneously thought he was going out in his own power, but he was actually going in the power of the Lord. The Lord was surely going to be with him and He was going to give Moses a token. God was going to be with Moses to work signs and wonders. All it will take is the courage and the decision to step out and obey God.
God will not leave you alone as you go. Whenever God sends a man, He calls others to argument him with their gift. God is bringing others to help you. This is the time to step out in faith.
4. Step out and obey:
God will not act until we move. He is counting on us to act. He will not do anything on earth, except by prayer and by men, and we can also do nothing except by Him. Let us rally round God’s banner and champion the cause of the cross. I believe your life will never be the same!
Be blessed, I love you!
