[Psalms 51:14 KJV] “Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness”.
I want to exhort you today about deliverance from bloodguiltiness. One of the main things that fight many people in this life is bloodguiltiness. Many of us are suffering from the guilt of innocent blood we have shed. I believe that as we wait on God, He shall graciously deliver us from blood guiltiness.
Cain murdered his brother and the grounds were cursed for his sake; he was driven from the presence of God and became a fugitive. The blood that entered the grounds began to cry for justice. Many of us walking around are walking with blood crying after us, demanding justice, and we carry the guilt. But as we wait in the presence of the Lord, I pray that God will deliver us from blood guiltiness.
Judas betrayed his master and love and committed suicide afterwards. He betrayed innocent blood and could not bear the guilt. I pray that the Lord shall forgive and deliver each of us from bloodguiltiness. There is no way you can shed innocent blood and continue to be happy. Many of us have betrayed trust and we walk with guilt. If your conscience does not prick you after you have done certain things, you are heading to destruction.
David slept with Bathsheba and killed Uriah. In Psalms 51, he pleaded with God to deliver him from blood guiltiness. He could not bear the guilt of shedding the blood of an innocent and loyal soldier. I pray that you shall find forgiveness. The Lord is willing to forgive you but you must forgive yourself. You must learn to pardon yourself. You can forgive yourself when you sincerely admit your wrong. Many of us don’t find forgiveness because we don’t admit our wrong.
Agag was slained by prophet Samuel because he was bloodguilty. His sword had made many women childless. It is important to find deliverance from bloodguiltiness. If you have lied against someone, or murdered, or aborted a baby, or have accidentally killed someone; you must be delivered because blood always cries for justice.
Simeon and Levi slew men in their anger and wrath and their father cursed their anger and wrath. Their father scattered them because of their rage. The instruments of cruelty dwelt in their tents and habitation.
[Genesis 49:5-7 KJV] “Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations. O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a wall. Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel”.
As we wait, we shall pray this single prayer topic. We shall seek the face of the Lord until we have found total peace and forgiveness. I pray that the Lord shall deliver you from bloodguiliness.
Be blessed, I love you!
