[Matthew 6:31-33 KJV] “Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”.
I believe that God wants us to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto us.
There are two very important thoughts that are communicated in this scripture:
The first thought is what we should seek first; The first thing to seek is the kingdom of God; it is however not the only things we should seek, but it should be the first. It should be at the top of our list of priorities. That is to say that if it is the only thing that can be done, then do that first. Do that before anything else is considered. We must seek the kingdom of God; and also the right or godly way of doing things.
The second thought that the scripture communicates is that we should focus on seeking the kingdom and godly ways of doing things, and all the things that the world is seeking after shall be added unto us. I don’t know what the world is seeking after but I am persuaded that when we seek first the kingdom and godly ways of doing things; whatever the world is seeking after shall be added unto us.
The scriptures teaches that the world is seeking after what to eat and what to drink, what to wear, and a means of shelter. All these things shall be added unto us when we seek the kingdom and godly ways of doing things.
I pray that you shall begin to seek the kingdom and righteousness of God. May you be able to walk in this revelation in the name of Jesus!
Be blessed, I love you!
