[John 4:19-24 KJV] “The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. [20] Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship”.
[21] “Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. [22] Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews”.
[23] “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. [24] God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth”.
I want to exhort you on the fact that you will never backslide if you understand that God is a spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. Many worshippers are not doing well because they have tied Christ and worship to a building; but as I have told you before, Christ and the gospel has had very little to do with buildings and locations. Inasmuch as I am a firm believer in assembling ourselves together, I believe that God is a spirit and those who worship Him ought to worship Him in spirit and in truth. We must begin to shift into the higher realm where we may be far apart geographically and yet so spiritually connected to each other in fellowship.
Thanks to science and technology! Thanks to abounding knowledge, let us learn to walk in the Spirit and connect both virtually and spiritual. The Lord said “a day is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship God in spirit and in truth. We are literally confronted with such a day; though our right to worship has not been taken away from us, the importance to worship together have been downplayed and despised.
A ban on gathering to worship may just be a wake-up call to the church. We ought to understand that we live in epic times and this could spell doom for our freedom of worship. This is the day and time when our rights to worship and responsibility are most needed and should be respected. At least consensus building in placing such a ban would have been helpful. We must, in any case, arise to become the church that can meet as family units and small groups. I pray that this season of not meeting physically will help and lead to the building of the family units.
This is the time to arise as a church to worship in spirit and in truth. There are more dangerous and difficult times ahead. I pray that we shall all be built into a robust church that can worship in spirit and in truth. The church can no longer be buildings and congregations; church has now become families and small groups. Times are changing and the church must get ready to act. Let us arise to begin to worship in the Spirit God.
I speak over your life that great change shall come to you. I declare that you shall walk in realms of power and integrity. May your faith never fail! May we connect virtually and spiritually! You will make it and not fail, Amen!
Be blessed, I love you!
