Getting Ready for Life After a Storm

[Genesis 9:1-5 KJV] “And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. [2] And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. [3] Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. [4] But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. [5] And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man”.

Studying the life of Noah leaves me with no option than to teach you about how to get ready for life after a storm. Indeed, life will never be the same again after this storm called COVID-19. If you have studied prophecy and history, you will know that major change and paradigm shifts takes place after every great storm or pestilence. Major changes took place after the pandemic in 1915 and 1918. It took a while before people could integrate again.

As it was in the days of Noah, after this storm things will never be the same again. Before the floods, man depended on plants for food but after the floods, there was a major change and we began to also feed on animal products. Are you ready for the major changes that will take place. Whether you live or die there will be a major change after now! Are you ready for that change?

The simple steps to get ready for that change is to;

1. Anticipate what you might have to to deal with:

There will be changes but your ability to predict the possible changes that might take place in the midst of the trial and after the storm will help you to prepare. You must be ready for the change that might happen. After the storm, we will not do business the same way we did before. After the storm marriages will not be the same. There will be so much change to deal with and predicting and mastering them will help us a lot.

2. Purpose to survive the storm and not succumb:

Purpose in your heart that you will survive every storm and not succumb to it. You will be part of the remnant that sing that there is a lifting up. May the Lord sustain you in the midst of the storm!

3. Pray for direction:

Pray that the Lord shall reveal to you what can be done to move on after the storm. He will not hide anything from His servants. Believe Him to reveal great virtue to survive the post-storm events. The Lord will keep you and help you to survive. You will not go down with the storm, your ark will settle on Ararat.

4. Plan for the vision:

You must plan how to deal with the storm and its effects. You will survive the storm and rise to the next level. “When others say there is a casting down you shall say there is a lifting up”.
