I want to exhort you on the signs of the end of the world. This world is coming to an end and shall end soon.
[Matthew 24:3 KJV] “And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?”
The count down is getting lower every day. What then are the signs of the end of the world? The following are key things that will precede the end of the world:
1. Attack on temples and cathedrals:
Don’t be surprised when people begin to attack chapels and church buildings. It is predicted and prophesied by the Lord. People will question the use of buildings and cathedrals. They will suggest that these buildings and cathedrals should be put to other uses. These things have been spoken of by the Lord already.
2. Mass publication of horror, fake news, and rumours:
The Bible continues to speak of the next sign of the coming of the Lord as the publishing of news of horror and tragedy, fake news, and rumours. This shall be the mark of the days. It is important for us to understand this truth in the light of God’s word. Don’t be surprised that now everyone has some news to share all over social media and traditional media houses. Everyone wants to be the first to break the news; if you want attention, you have to do something to stir the news.
3. The beginning of sorrows, afflictions, persecution, and the killing of the saints:
The Lord also taught about the beginning of sorrows and hard times, persecution, and affliction of the church. The Bible says that when the difficult times begin, we should know that it is just the beginning of sorrows and not the end. Commerce will boom, marriages and sex will be hyped, there will be eating and drinking, but the times will not get better. It is just the beginning of sorrows. And it says we should read and understand.
4. The revival of the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom:
Then there shall be the rise and revival of evangelism and missions. The gospel must be preached and the gospel will be preached. I pray that there shall be the rise of die-hard evangelists who will take the nations by storm and by surprise. And I pray that you will be part of the people fulfilling this prophecy. May your name be mentioned in the records. You will not miss your season and time.
5. The rise of false prophets and false Christs, delusions, and deception:
In the midst of all the preaching and revival, God will send strong delusions and the nations shall be deceived because the love of the truth is not in them. I pray that you will not fall prey to these false prophets; but beware that there shall be the rise of false prophets, false Christs, and false teachers. But you will not be deceived as long as you love the truth.
6. Iniquity will abound, and the love of many shall wax cold:
The Lord taught further that iniquity will abound; wickedness will abound and many shall be offended and hurt. Hence the love of many shall grow cold and frigid. Many people shall lose their love for God and for the things of God. Many will grow cold and fall by the way, but I pray that your fire will still be burning. You must decide that no matter what happens, you will continue to love and press on. You will not fail, you will love and burn with love.
7. The abomination that causes desolation:
The final sign of the coming of the Lord that I want to touch on is the abomination that causes desolation. I speak and curse every abomination that causes desolation and restricts the worship of God in the temple. I pray that you shall worship God and God alone. You will not miss the mark, you will run and not fail. You will overcome!
As these things happen, then suddenly the Lord shall come and we will be caught up in the clouds to meet Him in the air, and we shall be with Him forever. These are the seven signs that will precede and show the coming of the Lord and the end of the world. Wake up! Be alert! And don’t be shaken, because God is with us!
