I want to speak to you today on the need to keep running and focusing on your race and the dreams and ideas God put in your heart.
[Habakkuk 2:1-3 KJV] “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
It does not matter how slow it is unfolding, I believe that every vision or dream has a time appointed for it. Sometimes, it delays but God never makes a mistake. He is always right on time.
No matter what you face on your pursuits of vision, you should not lose heart because there is a time appointed for every vision. It may tarry but it shall surely come to pass. You will not fail and cannot fail. The grace and power of God is available to help you to win.
- Just start with what you have
- Wherever you are
- With whoever you have
- Doing whatever you can do.
We learn this wisdom from the wife of the prophet who sought to escape indebtedness. The prophet told him to go home, lock the doors and with her sons pour their little oil into the vessels they had borrowed.
I know you don’t have enough but God is the one we are serving and trusting. Keep working and keep fighting, keep pressing because;
1. God is the one who has the keys of David, and has opened the door for you:
2. A little one shall become a thousand and a strong nation:
Everything we pour ourselves in to shall grow. The Lord is committed to growing the works of our hands. He is ready to cause this thing to grow and it shall grow.
[Isaiah 60:22 KJV] “A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the Lord will hasten it in his time.”
3. There is profit in all labour:
This is the truth. There is profit in all labour. As long as we give ourselves to godly vision, we will make profit.
[Proverbs 14:23 KJV] “In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.”
4. He that goes forth bearing precious seeds for sowing shall return with his sheaves rejoicing:
As long as the heaven and earth remain, seedtime and harvest shall also remain. We must not faint because we shall see fruits and reap the harvest of our labour.
[Psalms 126:6 KJV] “He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
5. The Lord only expects a proportionate increase from each of us:
In the parable of talents, we understand that the Lord does not expect an increase of ten from a servant He gave five, or an increase of five from a servant whom He gave one. “To whom much is given, much is expected”. The truth is “all you can do all you can do; but all you can do is enough” — John Maxwell
6. The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong:
In fact, everything happens by time and by chance. But the most favoured people are those who live their lives prepared; those who are ready when the right time comes.
Many of us are failing and not going forward because we are waiting for the opportune time and the best resources. The truth is, the opportune time may never come. So, whatever you seek to do, do it now and with all of your might. Don’t lose heart, keep pressing and press on in faith.
Find out what it takes and how it can be done and do it now! Just do it and do it as many times as it will take to get the results your desire. Keep pouring and pouring yourself into it until you have gained enough.
I love you
