If there is one thing that the Lord desires of us if there is any singular action that God would have us take today, it is to wake up.
[Romans 13:12 KJV] “The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.”
God wants all men to awaken from their slumber because the night is far spent. There is no time on our side and the little time left is running out.
What is this night season?
The night is the season or the window of darkness when men do wrong. This is when men may find the shelter of darkness to do wrong. The night is when people find a hiding place to trespass; but when day breaks, the cover of darkness is removed and no man can hide. Soon, day will break; soon Jesus Christ will return and his great light shall make everything bare. A day is coming when no man can hide. Let us, therefore, take advantage of this grace period and take cover under the grace of God.
Why should we awake?
The day is dawning. The day is breaking and God wants us to arise from our slumber and work the works of light. This is the time to walk in the light as children of light. We must cast off the works of darkness and put on the armour of light, which is Christ. We must endeavour to walk as children of light. We must walk as in the day and not as people in the night.
The times are dangerous and the season is not right to walk without your armour. We are standing in the middle of a fierce battle. We wrestle not against flesh and blood. We are fighting, and the battle is against higher invisible and visible beings. There is something that is trying to stop your colorful destiny. Let us awaken from our deep slumber.
My prophetic word!
I pray for grace for you that you shall be able to put on the armour of light. I pray that you shall walk as in the day and not as in the night. I pray that you will not be taken by surprise when the Lord shall return. I speak over your life that your sins shall be forgiven and you shall be washed as white as snow. Nothing will stop you. You are more than a conqueror.
I love you, stay blessed.Pastor Simpe Bediako
