Listen! The presence of fear is evidence of the lack of faith. We are people of faith; there is no reason to be afraid or discouraged even in a world stricken with fear. This is simply because God is with us to help and uphold each of us. Do not allow anything to trouble your hearts. Things may not have gone the way you expected but our God is still with us.
[Isaiah 41:10 KJV] “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness”.
This is the time to wipe your tears. This is the time to give up the cares. Just lift your eyes and hearts to the hills and see, help is on the way. The oceans may roar and the tides of the sea may beat, but none should fear because God is with us.
The dangers of fear
1. Fear can cause you to do things you know you should not do:
Saul offered a sacrifice he was not permitted to offer. (See 1 Samuel 13:7-13)
2. Fear can make you run from things you must run to:
Adam heard the voice of God and started running from Him. He run when he was supposed to get drawing close to God. (See Genesis 3:10)
3. Fear can cause you to sink.
Peter sank at the very place where he was supposed to walk gallantly. (See Matthew 14:30-31)
4. Fear can make people wicked, and make them hide things they must be working with:
The servant who received the one talent said “I was afraid so I hid the talent”, but his lord said he was rather “wicked and slothful” (See Matthew 25:25)
This is why we must break the spirit of fear. We must not entertain fear at all, we must deal with it ruthlessly.
3 Reasons why you should not fear
He said it in His word that He is with us. He gave this promise Himself. His name is Emmanuel, meaning God is with us. He is not just with us, He is with us to;
- Strengthen us
- Help us
- Hold us with His right hand of righteousness
He is not a man that He should lie. He can do that which He has said. He is faithful and will not disappoint. Men and women may have forsaken us, but God is with us. Mother and father may not care but God is with us. When the whole world forsakes us, He is faithful to keep us. We can count on Him.
It is not too late for anyone. God is always on time to discharge. He will keep you from falling, just trust Him.
1. Trust Him to strengthen you
There is hope for the weak and to those who have no strength. He is here to strengthen us. Let the weak, therefore, declare that “I am strong”. God is your strength. He will strengthen you by His word, by His spirit, and by His church.
2. Look to Him for help
Hold on! Help is coming. Help is coming from the hills. Lift your eyes and see; God is on your side to help you. He is sending help from Zion. The Lord shall be our helper. As we wait upon Him, He will help us.
In the coming days, you will experience many supernatural breaks and helps. Doors will open that will shock you!
3. Yield to God
He said, “I will hold you with My right hand of righteousness!” Just yield to Him. The best part of this is that He is holding you; just yield.
He will never get tired. Even when you are tired and feel overwhelmed and exhausted, just yield! All you have to do is to be submitted and yielded to God.
There is nothing like I am tired. Just be yielded. Throw yourself on Him and allow Him to hold you with His unchanging hand. God is for us and none can be against us.
Prayer for help
1. Come before the Lord with singing, thanksgiving, and adoration:
Lift up your voice and magnify His name above all your cares and trouble. Cast all your cares upon Him because He cares for you. Say with me “I come before the Lord with singing! His praise shall continually be in my mouth…”
2. Declare as in Psalm 124:8 “our help is in the name of the Lord”
Pray that we shall find help in the name of the Lord throughout the coming days. Lift up your voices and ask the Lord to magnify His name in your life. Speak to the Lord to activate the power of His name in your life.
Pray that all of your troubles, cares, infirmities, and challenges shall bow at the mention of the name of Jesus Christ. Pray that the Lord will work a work in your life that will make every tongue confess that He is Lord. Pray!
3. Pray that the Lord shall hold you and your household with His righteous hand to help you:
Declare that you shall not die but will live to declare the word of the Lord. Your life will reflect His glory. You will become a walking testimony to God. Those who hear your story shall rejoice with you.
Declare your perfect health, blessed marriage, and a great career. Declare that you shall be the head and not the tail. You will not be sick, nor fruitless, nor empty. The Lord shall fill your mouth with good.
4. Pray and exercise authority over serpents and scorpions and creeping things:
Open your mouth and declare your authority over serpents and scorpions. Trample underfoot every creeping thing projected to harm you, exercise dominion, and curse them to die!
Pray! Exercise your authority over creeping things! Say with me “I exercise my authority over every creeping thing projected against me!”
5. Break the spirit of anything that causes fear and panic:
Lift up your voice and declare that anything projected against you and your household, and causes fear and panic is broken and overpowered.
6. Ask the Lord to sanctify you; spirit, soul, and body:
Say with me “Any evil thing in my life, that gives the enemy access to touch me, or my spouse, or my children, or any of my assets is purged by blood and by fire!”
In the name of Jesus! In the mighty name of Jesus. “I am purged! I am sanctified by blood and by fire! Right now!”
7. Release fire and quakes against spells, witchcraft, magic, and satanic projections against you and your household:
Finally, we prophesy! Anything that anyone of us must possess, which is being blocked by witchcraft, magic, spells or any demonic power is released.
Say “I will possess my blessings, my marriage, my children, my peace, my joy, my ministry, my car, my house! This year! This moment! Right now!”
Now begin to thank God and give the Lord a shout! Clap your hands and dance before Him.
Amen!
