[Isaiah 66:9 KJV] “Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the Lord: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.”
Introduction
I think you need a breakthrough and want to exhort you to pray and contend earnestly for a breakthrough in life. We need a breakthrough.
I need a major breakthrough in life. Things cannot continue this way; there must be a breakthrough. We were made for more. We cannot, and must not settle here.
This is the time to earnestly pray and content for that breakthrough. We must arise as a church and stand with each other desiring a breakthrough. We cannot die in obscurity! You were made for more.
God did not give you all this beauty, intelligence, and skill to scratch and die like a pauper. You must walk in the corridors of power, influence, and significance. You must leave your mark in the sands of time!
For clarity, it is important to state that;
- A breakthrough is an important discovery or event that helps to improve a situation or provide an answer to a problem.
- To breakthrough is to forcefully penetrate an obstacle or a ceiling.
I believe it is time to break the glass ceiling that keeps us from advancing, marrying, growing, expanding, prospering, healing, etc.
We need that important discovery and event that will help us to forcefully penetrate and advance beyond these barriers. It is time to penetrate the devils and societal restrictions.
It is time to both pray and contends for that revelation and discovery that will both help us to improve our situation and offer answers to the problems of our lives. This is the time; we cannot leave life to chance!
This is the time and season to trust God to bring us a breakthrough! It is time to strive to find and to experience that one thing or series of events that will help to improve our situation.
God did not bring us this far to disgrace us. God brought us thus far to bring out the best in us. Our churches must grow; our faith must stand the test of time; we must stay healthy, wealthy, stronger, faithful, and on top.
This is the time of change and progress. This is the season for a breakthrough. Don’t settle for less! Don’t leave life to chance! Let us arise and contend until we have a breakthrough.
How to breakthrough
The following gives you how to breakthrough;
1. You must stand upon your watch daily: You must have daily quiet times to see what He will say. We cannot win the war until we are in constant touch with the command centre. (See Habakkuk 2:1-4)
2. You must keep a journal:
You must write down things that come to you through the gates of thoughts and of your spirit. You need divine light to stay afloat with the storms of life. You must write down what He shows you.
3. You must surround yourself with positive and faithful people, and stay positive:
The Bible tells us not to cast away our confidence. You need your convictions and confidence to stay consistent and persist.
4. You must build your inner strength through meditation, prayer, and fasting:
God can do in our lives in proportions of His power at work in us (See Ephesians 3:20).
Remember! There are certain things and situations you cannot pull through except by fasting and prayer! Some things don’t go forth except by fasting and prayer. This is the time!
5. You must purpose, plan, and push until there is a breakthrough:
Just be sure, you are not pushing through the wrong wall. Be poised, be consistent, persists; just don’t tarry at birth! Strike while the metal is hot.
6. You must be ready to go alone sometimes:
There are many times when many people will be unwilling to go with you. There are times when you have to fight and advance alone. Sometimes, those you thought will stand by you will forsake and abandon you. You must be ready to fight alone sometimes!
This is the time to arise and Pray Until Something Happens! This is the time to PUSH! Let us push beyond the obstruction and barriers; God being our helper.
Stay blessed
