My God is the God of purpose, plans, and pursuits; He has thoughts which He thinks toward us, ways that are unsearchable and higher than our ways, and works that are both mighty and mysterious!
Purpose
In Jeremiah 29:11, we know that the Lord has thoughts about us. These are thoughts to bring us to the expected end. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts; as high as the heavens are above the earth, so are His thoughts above ours.
There are times when we don’t understand what is going on but if we are saved and walk with the Lord, then we just have to be mindful that God has a purpose for our lives. He is thinking about you and His purpose will surely be manifest.
Plans
God has plans; He has a way of doing things. His ways are not our ways! His ways are higher than ours. He showed His ways to Moses and His works to Israel. What are your plans? Does it resonate with the ways of God? You must understand that God has a plan. He works in ways we may not always understand. His ways and plans are higher than ours.
When the elders of the Jews crucified Jesus, they thought He was finished but God had a plan. Jesus was not finished, He was rather being empowered. When the brothers of Joseph sold him to slavery, they thought he was finished but rather, God was sending him to preserve a nation. I do not doubt that God is working out a plan; please be yielded!
Pursuits
Finally, remember God is still working. He is working on your case. He is always at work and He works in mysterious ways. God is up to something and we can trust the process fully.
