[Proverbs 18:14 KJV] “The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; But a wounded spirit who can bear?”
I don’t know what you may be going through but I came to exhort that don’t allow anything to break your spirit. The Bible tells us that “the spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity, but a wounded spirit who can bear.” Your spirit or vim is might to sustain you in the day of your weakness; hence the need to guard your spirit. Protect your spirit and let nothing break your front and vim!
Beloved, we have a long way to go and none of us can make it with a broken spirit. We must all train our spirits not to be easily broken. Things will happen to us and around us every day, but the greatest wisdom is to determine to keep a positive spirit. You need to resolve and build strength. You are more than able, determine to stand and fight on. God believes in us and we cannot disappoint Him.
[Proverbs 24:10 KJV]“If thou faint in the day of adversity, Thy strength is small.”
One of the greatest qualities that helped Joseph to survive and win over adversity was his tenacity. “Though the archers shot at him, his bow remained in strength”. May the God of our fathers strengthen and bless you!
[Genesis 49:22-26 KJV]“Joseph is a fruitful bough, Even a fruitful bough by a well; Whose branches run over the wall: The archers have sorely grieved him, And shot at him, and hated him: But his bow abode in strength, And the arms of his hands were made strong By the hands of the mighty God of Jacob;”
“(From thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:) Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; And by the Almighty, who shall bless thee With blessings of heaven above, Blessings of the deep that lieth under, Blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:”
“The blessings of thy father Have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors Unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: They shall be on the head of Joseph, And on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.”
Listen! May the grace that was upon Joseph settle upon you! May you have the tenacity to drive forward! May nothing stop or break your spirit! This is the time when the church must decide to allow their bow to abide in strength. None should be a weakling; we must arise and push harder.
