[Acts 1:7-8 KJV] “And he said unto them, It is not for you t know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth”
Many of us are living anyhow because we are unaware of what God is up to. We are unaware and are busily chasing after things that don’t matter. If there is one thing on the mind of God concerning you, it is to make you a witness. God wants you to become a witness to Him.
Some are striving to be prayer warriors, financial partners, social media influencers; God is up to only one thing; to make you a witness into Him. God wants to give you a testimony that you will share with others. You are called and being empowered to one end; just to testify to people around you that God is good and His mercies endure forever.
God wants us to be witnesses of His power, love, and grace. We have to tell everyone we meet that God is good and His mercies endure forever. This is all God is driving at. “You shall receive power after the Holy Ghost comes upon you”.
This power is given to transform you into witnesses. You are destined to testify. Whatever it takes; God will do for you. God will give you a testimony to share. You will be His witness. You will soon begin to share His mighty hand in your life.
This is what your faith and life must count for. You are saved and graced to be witnesses unto the Lord.
