Your Faith Must Break Through Roofs to Deliver Your Breakthrough

[Mark 2:1‭-‬5 KJV] “And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house. And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.”

“And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee”

I want to speak to you today on the subject of faith; I want to prepare your hearts to receive during the great faith summit.

I want to say that until your faith can move you to break through roofs and ceilings and barriers; it is not potent enough to deliver a breakthrough. The man in the text was healed and restored because his friends were ready to defy all odds to come into the atmosphere of miracles. Many of us are too laid back to catch the attention of God. Your faith and your hunger matter a lot in the school of the supernatural.

I want to trust the Lord to help us develop our faith for impact. This is the time to develop our faith as individuals and as a church. We must build our faith to step up the game and step out. We must be willing to give up excuses and act. These friends received a breakthrough because they would not allow anything to stop them.

Four things happened on that day;

1. You must know a man and place where answers are sure once you get there:

The friends knew that all they had to do was to get the sick man to Jesus. They were so sure that they will get answers. The Lord was also prepared to minister to the needs of the people. The people knew what the Lord could do, the Lord was ready to minister. I pray that the Lord would create an atmosphere of miracles for us. I pray that He shall raise a people who are charged and ready to make an impact.

2. You must hear the testimonies of the ministry of the minister:

The healing ministry is not magic; it thrives on faith. You need your faith to connect and be touched. The Lord needed the people to believe and to act in faith to receive the breakthrough. To develop your faith for a breakthrough, we must spend time in the testimonies of the Lord.

We must share the testimonies. We must keep telling what the Lord is doing among us. We must keep praying and sharing the word. We must spread the word to create faith. Tell the world! Tell the nations! Spread the word and share the news!

3. Many gathered and He preached the word:

Faith comes by hearing; hearing is the key factor to build our faith. Hearing is the key factor to develop the kind of faith that will deliver a breakthrough. This is the time to gather for just the preaching of the word. As we keep sowing the seeds and preaching the word; we create an atmosphere for the supernatural. Preach the word! Soak the word! Meditate on the word!

4. The friends of the paralyzed man had so much faith that they defied all odds and broke through all barriers:

We must have enough faith; nothing should be able to stop us! We must be willing to press on and break through all odds to reach the goal. This is what it will take; defiant faith! This is the time to grow and develop that kind of faith! This is the time; you must be able to defy all odds and take the right steps towards the atmosphere for miracles!

I have no doubt that faith that gets results defies all odds and reaches out to touch the Lord or to be touched of God. May God help us to develop that faith, Amen!
