I want to share 12 prayer points on church growth with you.
[1 Timothy 2:1-10 KJV] “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.”
“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.”
“Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity. I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.”
“In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; but (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.”
- Pray that God will count you worthy of His calling and fulfil all His good pleasure and goodness and the work of faith with power. See 2 Thessalonians 1:11.
- Pray that the Lord will give us utterance; that we may declare the whole counsel of God with power and deep manifestations. See Ephesians 6:18
- Pray that God will give us boldness and courage to preach the gospel by stretching His hands to heal all that are oppressed by devils. See Acts 4:29-31
- Pray that the Lord shall renew our strength as that of the Eagle as we wait on Him. May the Lord enable us to soar like eagles and mount up with wings. See Isaiah 40:29-31
- Pray that the Lord will send labourers and partners into the vineyard. The harvest is plenteous but the labourers are few. See Luke 10:2
- Pray that the word of God will have a free course and be glorified among us. May every resistance to the word be broken down and shattered in the name of Jesus Christ! See 2 Thessalonians 6:1
- Pray that Christ will be formed in us. Pray that the nature of Christ will be crystallised in us. See Galatians 4:19
- Pray that God will increase us with men like a flock! May the Lord cause a little one to become a thousand and a small one a great nation. See Ezekiel 36:37
- Pray that the Lord will give us the city of Accra! Pray that the Lord will give us the heathen for our inheritance and the ends of the world for our possession. See Psalm 2:8
- Pray that the kingdom of God shall come and that His will shall be done in the city as it is done in heaven. See Matthew 6:10
- Pray that God will enlarge our coast and cause our influence to be far-reaching. Pray that His hand would keep us from evil that it might not hurt us. See 1 Chronicles 4:10
- Pray that the Lord shall give us authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over every power of the enemy. Pray and activate that authority in the name of Jesus! See Luke 10:19
