[Psalm 23:1-6 KJV] “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul:”
“He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;”
“Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.”
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: And I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”
Roses are beautiful but are groomed in the midst of thorns. Walking with God is a pleasant thing but the journey is like a marathon; you will run and journey through many places; but through all the changing scenes of life, in joy and pain; let the praises of God be in your mouth. In all things give thanks.
The journey of life will take you through many different places; but through all the changing scenes of life, let the praise of God be in your mouth. In the journey of life there may come times when you have to;
- Lie down in green pastures
- Be besides stilled waters
- Be in the paths of righteousness
- Walk through the valley of the shadows of death
- Dine in the presence of your enemies but you will have to
- Dwell in the house of the LORD forever
Whether you are in the green pastures, the stilled waters, the paths of righteousness, the presence of your enemies, or the valley of the shadows of death; there is no reason to fear, just dwell in the house of the LORD. Those who are planted in the house of the LORD prosper. Through it all, we know that God is able to save us:
- He makes us
- He leads us
- He restores us
- He comforts us
- He prepares tables for us
- He anoints us with oil
Whether we face brokenness, death, terror, or enemies; our hearts will not be troubled but just dwell in the house of the LORD. If the Lord is your shepherd, you will lack no good thing. You shall not want. You will win and continue.
Stay blessed
