My message today is a prophetic prayer topics on time and chance; how to manifest your set time!
[Ecclesiastes 9:7-12 KJV] “Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works. Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment.”
“Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun.”
“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.”
“I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.”
“For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.”
Ecclesiastes 9 is teaching a simple reality; in life calculations don’t always add up or work. You must live your life totally depending on God, keep life simple, beware of treachery, wickedness, anf ingratitude in life. You must live your life depending on God’s providence.
- Calculations don’t always work
- Living by faith and power and purpose will always pay off
- Time and chance happens to all men
Whenever you kneel to pray, remember your relationship with God, what He wants, what you need, and your need of providence and protection.
As we lift up our voices and pray, Father, remember the set time to favour us:
Let not our days pass as a shadow that declines; neither let any of us whither like grass; have mercy on us!
[Psalm 102:11-13 KJV] “My days are like a shadow that declineth; And I am withered like grass. But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever; And thy remembrance unto all generations. Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: For the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.”
There are times when you feel like your days are whithering away like grass or as a shadow that declines. May the Lord favour and renew your youth!
As we lift our voices and pray, May those who have an appointment with us not delay!
If a man has promised to marry you, May He honour His word without fail! If someone has promised to help you, May He honour His word without fail!
Your appointment will not fail, unless the outcome will not favour you.
[1 Samuel 13:8 KJV] “And he tarried seven days, according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him.”
We pray against delays and denials! We rebuke any power that tries to cause unnecessary delays in our lives. We speak speed, acceleration and help into every good situation.
Father, as we pray let every time you have spoken of for our good be honoured in the name of Jesus!
As we pray, the Lord shall fulfil every set time He has spoken of in the name of Jesus. The time spoken of by God that you shall take seed and be fruitful shall be fulfilled. Pray!
[Genesis 21:2 KJV] “For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.”
As we pray any evil person laying in wait for an opportune time to harm or hurt should be denied such an opportunity!
Even as Herman sought an occasion to harm the Jews but failed; may those lying in wait to harm and hurt you, never have such an opportunity!
[Matthew 26:16 KJV] “And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.”
There are people who lie in wait to deceive and to harm.
[Ephesians 4:14 KJV] “that we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;”
[Psalm 59:3 KJV] “For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: The mighty are gathered against me; Not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O LORD.”
Pray that the Lord will deliver you from the snares of those who lie in wait to deceive.
As we pray, May God cause us not to miss the appointed time
There is a divine timetable for everything; may God guide us into His appointed times.
[Psalm 81:3 KJV] “Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, In the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.”
[Nehemiah 13:31 KJV] “and for the wood offering, at times appointed, and for the firstfruits. Remember me, O my God, for good.”
As we pray, oh God, let us not miss the time appointed for our change
[Job 14:14 KJV] “If a man die, shall he live again? All the days of my appointed time will I wait, Till my change come.”
Stay blessed
