Our focus as a church is to bring people back into fellowship with Christ! That is all we are seeking to do but hell will not fold hands and stand to watch us to this. All hell is breaking loose and determined to keep us from doing that. Hell will try and release effective weapons against this agenda. Some of the weapons we can expect hell to release include but not limited to:
- Intimidation
- Offense
- Discontentment
- Distractions
- Enticements
- Backbiting
- Love of the world
- The rise of brethren to speak perverse things just to draw disciples after them
It is no cause for alarm anyway because these weapons can be counteracted by merely:
- Maintaining the aim: Our life’s goal is to become missionaries to the place we live, work, and play. The purpose of life after getting born again is to live for the one who died for us. He commissioned us to go into the world and preach the word. We are called to reach the ends of the world; this is our mandate and calling.
- Assembling and honest situational report: Many of God’s precious children die foolishly because they do not give the company an honest report of what is happening. The wife of the prophet brought her challenges to the prophet. She did not hide what she was facing from her prophet. When the son of the Shunammite died, she saddled an ass and came to the prophet with an honest situational report. Stop window dressing and start reporting as it is on the ground.
- Prayer: If we want to subdue the satanic weapons against us, then we must get down to prayer. Pray is the key to dealing with intimidation and weapons of darkness projected against you.
- Desire the manifestation and infilling of the Spirit: The Bible tells us that the early church prayed for the manifestations of the supernatural hand of God. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, they shall be filled.
- Connecting and keeping the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace: We all come to a place in life when we need the reinforcement and support of others; hence the Scripture “two are better than one, they have a better reward for their labour.”
- Giving and deploying resources wisely: Giving is the spiritual lifeline to a constant supernatural supply.
- Going from place to place preaching the gospel: Step out and preach.
Stay blessed
