- There is a work that God must do around you as well and
- There is work you must do
The word bearing fruits
The word of God will bear fruits in you when you:
- Understand the word, hence believe
- Allow the word to take roots in you
- Break up the fallow grounds of your heart: break the hold of lust, anxiety, the pride of life, deceitfulness of riches, and cares; deal with thorns
- Nurture the word to grow out of a good heart: you pray, speak, obey, and wait for the word to manifest
“And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables? The sower soweth the word. And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; and have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended. “
“And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, and the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.”
[Mark 4:13-20 KJV]

- Make the place you are planted, a fruitful hill. Pray that God would l strategically position in a fruitful hill
- Gather up the stones or break up the hard places in the field
- Build a fence or wall of protection around you
- Build watch towers in your field to keep watch over you
- Build wine presses to process your effort into fruits and increase
Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill: and he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.
Isaiah 5:1-2 KJV

“And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.”
“Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.“
[Luke 14:27-33 KJV]
