[Mark 11:22-26 KJV] “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”
“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.”
Pray we have learnt is communication with God; but at a certain level, pray is dealing with impossible situations. We want to study prayer that moves mountains!
- Pray that moves mountains identify the problem that must be dealt with. You must know what you are dealing with. Pray that moves mountains speak to the mountain. When our Lord wanted to move death, He prayed about death.
- Prayer that moves mountains is based on faith without doubt. If you pray earnestly and do not doubt in your heart, whatever you ask shall be done for you.
- Prayer that moves mountains speaks to the mountains and the situation looking up to God. You must learn to speak to your mountain and to the sycamore to be removed.
- Prayer that moves mountains is from a heart that is free from unforgiveness and doubt. Doubt is a thief and unforgiveness is a barrier. Bitterness will block your prayer, and doubt will abort your answers.
- Prayer that moves mountains is consistent and persistent. The poor widow kept coming to the unjust judge until vengeance was given to her (See Luke 18)
Pray that your prayers and confessions shall move the mountains out of the way. Pray that your words of faith would move every mountain out of your way.
