Praying for an Open Heaven

[2 Chronicles 7:11‭-‬14 KJV] “Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD, and the king’s house: and all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in the house of the LORD, and in his own house, he prosperously effected. And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.”

“If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Heaven is the dwelling place of God, and it’s important to inform you that there are many heavens; in fact, there are three heavens:

1. The atmosphere above us
2. The stary heaven
3. The third heaven which Apostle Paul visited before he died.

At least these are the heavens we read about expressly in the Scriptures.

It is also important to understand that there are many ways that heaven influences the earth. Heaven influences the weather and climate; the heavens also influence the spiritual climate of the earth. The whole Prince of Persia episode tells us about the heavenly realm that influences the earth and social environment.

If we really want to operate under open heaven, to experience all the goodness and mercies of God, then we must;

1. Build the house of God: the spiritual house, the denominational house, the physical house, and the social house.
2. Build your house and life too; don’t build the church and ignore your house. Don’t ignore your vine to keep others’.
3. Prosperously effect everything the Lord shall put in your heart concerning His and your house.
4. Offer prayers and sacrifice continually in the house of the Lord.
5. Walk in His statutes
6. Whenever you feel the heaven is shut or closed; humble yourself and pray, seek the face of God, and turn from your wicked ways!

These are the simple secrets to walking under an open heaven. This is the time and now is the season to walk under an open heaven. 

Let us pray for open heaven now;

1. Lift up your voice and begin to thank the name of the Lord! Adore the Lord and praise His holy name! Thank God and bless Him for the many blessings and goodness that He has bestowed toward us.
2. Pray that the Lord shall open heaven over us. Pray that you shall operate under open heavens. Pray that heaven will give rain over you.
3. Let us pray that God would pour His spirit upon the church. May God work His mighty works among us in the name of Jesus.
4. Pray that any barriers erected to fight the move of God among us shall be crushed. No barrier can stop the move of God! Pray!
5. Pray that any agent sent to cause confusion and division among us should fail. We shall stand together and never be defeated! Pray!!
6. Let us pray and bind any strange personalities in this city; fighting the true worship of God. Pray for the liberation of the city! Pray that people in this city shall be liberated to prosper!
7. Pray that the Lord shall attend to our prayers and heal the sick and set the oppressed free. Pray for fresh miracles!
