Just how critical are your words in creating your reality and world? Why do you need to choose your words wisely?
[Proverbs 18:21 KJVS] “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
The scriptures speaks expressly that life and death is in the power of the tongue, but every man has the right and grace to choose. We have the right and the power to choose what we want. You can choose what you want to fill your life; but remember your tongue can either produce life or death.
Whether you are aware or not; your words create your reality and world; hence the need to choose your words wisely. The Bible says the wise chooses his words wisely but a fool just pour out words.
It important to also remember you will speak from the things that you fix your thoughts on, and feed to your heart. If you listen to junk, you will speak junk! Remember, garbage in, garbage out! What ever you feed to your heart will determine what your tongue will speak, and eventually, what would fill you life. Let us therefore diligently guard our hearts with all diligence.
Instead of discussing the challenges and speaking defeat, why not speak of the testimony and mighty works of God in the past. You will overcome the enemy by the word of your testimony.
Remember the story of David and Goliath; whereas the King Saul discussed how big the enemy and the challenges were; David came discussing the testimonies of God. David had a different perspective because he focussed and meditated on the acts and testimonies of God rather than discussing his fears. What you keep talking about grows bigger in your eyes. This is the time to arise and speak of the mighty works and testimonies of our God.
