[1 Corinthians 3:6 KJV] “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.”
In the year of increase, everyone expects an increase and we must be intentional about it. We all need to see prosperity and change, but how? All we can do is both plant and water but the increase will come from God.
It is important to state that what you are doing will not grow until you do the following;
- See it growing. Vision is so important in the growth process. What you see is what you aspire to and work for. What are you seeing? It is so important!
- Grow to accommodate the growth you anticipate. The church, the business, the marriage, the society will not grow until you grow to accommodate the growth you anticipate. When leadership grows everything grows with it.
- Contend for the growth. Growing is a journey against gravity. It will take a fight to grow. We must contend for the growth in prayer. We must fight for the growth in prayer and intercession. We must engage the forces of darkness in prayer and intercession.
- Groom for the growth. We must groom to sustain the growth. Every level of growth will require a new you. There is a new personality that can handle every level of growth. There is therefore the need to groom to handle the new level of growth to grow more.
- Deliver value for value. There is nothing as priceless to growth as a satisfied customer. When people are satisfied with a product or service, most people develop brand loyalty. They stay with it most of the time. Let us be people-centred if we want to grow.
- Reach out to new people. Your niche in the marketplace is always shrinking; it is important to reach new people constantly to remain influential. It is important to keep reaching out. We cannot grow bigger until we learn to reach out.
These are the simple keys to increase we must engage with.
