[Matthew 28:18-20 KJV] “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
A commission is a special assignment or authority to do something that is given to a group of people. Our commission as a church, our assignment is to;
- Go and preach the gospel to all nations
- Baptise and teach those who believe to observe all that you have been told to do.
We are assured that God is with us to work with us. He is with us to confirm our messages with signs following. We are the commission; we are the agency charged to go and preach to the nations. This is the time and now is the hour to go to the highways and hedges to preach the gospel. This is the time and we are the people.
The three simple steps to fulfil the great commission are:
- Pray earnestly
- Plan intelligently
- Act on the plan at all cost
We are more than able to do what God had committed to us. Step out and let’s fulfil the great commission.
