[Hebrews 11:30 KJV] “By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days”
I am in this teaching expounding on the wonders of praise. I am sharing how to make your praise deliver wonders. It is important to understand that praise is prayer with melody; therefore, just as your prayer cannot deliver without faith; your faith cannot deliver except it is offered in response to your faith in the word.
There are three places in the scriptures where praises did wonders; in all three places, the praise was in response to faith.
1. Jericho
We see faith and praise at work at the walls of Jericho. The Bible says the walls fell by faith. Did the people praise God? Yes, but they praised in faith and in the hope of finding the victory. We must praise in faith.
2. Jehoshaphat and Judah
Faith is at work in 2 Chronicles 20:20-21 when Jehoshaphat and Judah was going to war. The Bible reveals that God told them to believe Him and they will be established, and believe His prophets and they will prosper. The call was to believe, the singing was only to demonstrate their faith in what He can do.
3. Paul and Silas in prison
We also see praise do wonders when Paul and Silas were put in prison. The Bible says they prayed and praised, and God shook the gates open. I believe in the ability to do wonders but your faith is important to deliver results.
I exhort you to offer your praise and worship in faith. I exhort you to come to God in faith to get all the results you can receive!
Stay blessed
