[John 10:7-18 KJV] “Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.”
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.”
“But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.”
“I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.”
“Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.”
- Jesus is your door and access to pasture and more: He gives you opportunities and you must maximise them.
- We shall all appear before the great king to be judged: We will all have to answer for the things we did while on earth. As it is appointed unto man once to die, and after death, the judgement; Christ will appear a second time to those who look for His second coming unto salvation. (Hebrews 9:27)
- The future belongs to those who prepare for it: I believe every child of God must master economics. We must remember that human needs are insatiable but the resources to meet them are limited. Each of us must prepare and be positioned strategically by blessing to have an advantage.
- Aspire for great things and feats; but strive lawfully: The Bible encourages us to open our mouths wide and God will fill them; that is true but we brought nothing into this world and surely we will carry nothing out. Let us be careful how we live and earn a living. As we aspire for the heights, we must strive lawfully; this is because it is possible to chase and gain the whole world and lose your soul.
- Be ready to put up a fight: There is an enemy who comes only to steal, kill and destroy; you must try to resist him steadfastly in the faith. Survival, sufficiency, success, and significance come to those who resist even unto blood. There is no easy way out, if you will overcome, you must wrestle. You must be ready to fight!
- Occupy every little opportunity, door, money, or relationship that the Master gives you: In the Scriptures, the Master called and delivered talents to the servants who had served him. He gave them talents and instructed them to “occupy”. Nobody will give or deliver what you need to you. The seed in your hands is the guarantee for fruits in future. That good morning may be the greatest door to the red carpet. This message may be that little door that leads to a large room!
Love you
