[Matthew 28:19-20 KJV] “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen”
[1 Timothy 2:1-2 KJV] “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty”
These are two Scriptures I want you to read again and again and again. The Lord wants us to go to the ends of the world and preach the gospel. It’s urgent and we must step out to carry out this mission; He, however, wants us to first wait until we are endued with power from on high. We need power! And we receive this power after the Holy Ghost is come upon us.
There is no way we can reach and win the world without power. Power is fundamental to the works of missions. People are hungry for a real encounter with power. Let us arise and pray.
Prayer is the first step toward missions. We must arise and pray. Without prayer, we are joking in the mission field. We need power and we must pray until we are endued with power from on high. Pray is the first step. Let us pray!
Evangelism is the second step towards church planting, growth and spread. Others must hear the gospel of Christ! You are the one God is counting on to pray, plan, and partner with us to reach the world.
Discipleship is the last step. We must bring men into the mould of God. Don’t allow any man to change you into their mould. We must disciple those who believe into Christ-likeness. We are called to groom men and women after the likeness of the Christ in us. Many people, like Jezebel, are turning their followers into devils. We must rather groom men and women into the Christ in us!
Let us arise and seek to pray, reach out, and disciple the nations.
