[Proverbs 26:20-21 KJV] “Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: So where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth. As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire; So is a contentious man to kindle strife“
Listen! To believe is like locomotive engine, the greater the fire; the strong the translation. You need more fire for more power and speed. The hotter you get the faster the motion!
It is important, however, to remember that every fire must be fed to keep it ablaze! Where there is no wood to feed the fire, it goes out. If we can keep ourselves ablaze and aglow for Christ, we must feed the fire with wood. The wood for the fire of the Holy Spirit is waiting.
[Isaiah 40:29-31 KJV] “He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.“
We can increase and renew the fire power through waiting. Those who wait upon the Lord renew their strength. We must learn to;
- Study and think on the Scriptures
- Pray daily
- Worship and sing spiritual songs
- Stay silent in His presence
We must strive to wait for 60 minutes daily in His presence. Just 60 minutes! I did not set the time; He did. The Master set the status quo at 60 minutes. Every believe must be able to watch for 60 minutes without dozing off.
[Matthew 26:40 KJV] “And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?“
Your waiting and watching must have four main segments
- Reading, listening, and thinking
- Singing, ministering to the Lord, kneeling
- Praying, supplicating, and decreeing
- Silence and watching to see
Apostle Paul taught that we should give attendance to reading, exhortation, and doctrine.
[1 Timothy 4:13 KJV] “Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.“
Let us pray; arise and;
- Pray through the Scriptures; ask for the enforcement of scriptural provision. Daniel prayed because of what he read in the Scriptures.
- Pray through the words of hymns and Christain songs
- Pray through prayer list or journals
- Pray through questions; questions on your mind and heart
- Pray through the Lords prayer and prayers in the Bible.
This is the time to arise and increase the fire power. Time is far spent and we must be ablaze and aglow for God. The love of many are waxing cold because of increase iniquity. Let us arise and recharge!
Stay blessed
