I want to speak briefly on the barriers to fulfilling destiny. It is important to emphasise that there are many barriers that are attempting to stop each of us, prominent amongst them are:
- Ignorance of the goal and mark of the calling: If you don’t know what is expected of you, it is going to be almost impossible to attain unto it. Many people are running so fast in the wrong direction; yet patting themselves on the back for a good work done when they are actually failing woefully. Strive to know the goal, destiny, and mark!
- Generational curses: Generational curses have stopped many people than you think. Rueben, simeon and Levi, Ham and Canaan.
- Phlegmatism: Many have failed to fulfill destiny because they are too laid back. They are not pushing enough; they are too laid back.
- Witchcraft, evil bondage, demonic caging, young and tying down
- Association and network and environment: Abraham need to move from Ur, Naomi needed to come back to Bethlehem, Lot needed to move away from Sodom and Gomorrah. Even Jesus needed to move from Nazereth (See Psalm 1)
- Hypocrisy: You will never arrive when you find or devise ways to create the impression of progress.
- Demonic contamination and possession
- Sin that dwell within
